Ho Chi Minh City // Saigon

Seriously strong coffee!
Sizzling power cables in every street corner.

Chickens wandering around in central Saigon.

Cross the street if you dare!

Drinks on the rooftop at Rex Hotel!

When I grow up I wanna have an indoor garden like this in my house!

What do you mean wait for the car to pass? There is plenty of space for me! See?! The picture doesn't do it justice, it was barely a centimeter between the vehicles.
Stopping at a workshop where artists make paintings and other crafts out of eggshells of different colours.

The Tây Ninh Holy See, religious center of the Cao Dai. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cao_Dai

Yellow ones are Buddhists, red ones Christian and blue ones Taoist priests. People dressed in white are followers.

We had the most hilarious guide ever! He told us that entire families lived down in the tunnels. Sometimes children were born down there. "The woman in the café near the entrance, she was born in the tunnel!" he said. "She very beautiful, but she never married. She virgin. You know virgin means? Virgin means she don't know how big is the banana!"
Do you see the opening? I didn't.

Woha!
Some openings were so small that the Americans thought they were animal nests when they found them.
A widened part of the Chu Chi tunnels.
Road out of Saigon. Looking at all the imaginative little roadside houses kept me busy.
Pink, blue and green! They look like they are made of candy!
Saigon neon.

Pho!
